CHANTERS
The Chanters fill a special role in the church worship through their participation in all of the church services including the weekly Saturday Vespers, Sunday Orthros and Liturgy, weekday Liturgies and the monthly memorials. The Chanters also support special services of the Church such as Baptisms, Weddings, Memorials and Trisagion Services.
CHOIR
The Choir in an Eastern Orthodox Church is not entertainment and not meant to highlight individual talent, but rather it is a ministry to lead the congregation in prayer and praise. The human voice is considered the finest instrument and most Orthodox choirs sing a capella, or without instruments and is somewhat eclectic in terms of its musical styles.
